Bandhavgarh National Park.

Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, aptly known as the “Land of the Tiger,” was once the royal hunting ground of the region’s Maharajas. Today, it is a sanctuary for wildlife photography, where tigers are shot only through lenses. Despite its limited connectivity with other reserves, Bandhavgarh offers an excellent habitat and abundant prey base, supporting a remarkably high density of tigers—estimated at around 165 individuals. It is widely regarded as one of the best places in the world to observe tigers in the wild. In recent years, a herd of elephants migrated into the reserve from neighboring states. They have since thrived, and the population has grown to over 60 elephants within the park’s boundaries.
